If you are interested in coaching, you can do so when you register your player.  

If you did not sign up to volunteer while registering your child, you can sign up at a later date.  Log in to your account and click on Volunteer >> and then click on Find Volunteer Roles.  Select the program, division, and role that you wish to sign up for, choose to sign up yourself, click continue, and enter all required information.  Once you complete the registration, the role will display in your account.  Do not create a new account as you will not be associated with your child and we will not know which player to pair you with.

All coaches are required to complete the following:  (EVERY adult volunteer will need to complete this for the Fall 2025 season!)

• Register with Westford Youth Soccer Association - this lets us know you are interested in coaching.  Once you do that, you will receive instructions in your confirmation email on completing the remaining steps.

  • login in to your account
  • click on "Volunteer" on the side menu
  • at the bottom, click on "+ Find Volunteer Roles"
  • Under 2025 Fall look for the age group you want to volunteer for (any programs that your players are listed in, will be listed)
  • Select the role (only one - you can specify in the registration form)
  • Select the person you are registering
  • Click on Continue
  • Complete the registration form
• Register with Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association as a returning adult (using the same name and email address as Westford Youth Soccer).  This will initiated the background check if needed
• Complete SafeSport training - for the Fall 2025/ Spring 2026 soccer year, SafeSport training must be completed on or after January 1, 2025
• Complete Safe and Healthy Play Environment training (aka concussion training) - for the Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 soccer year must be completed on or after June 1, 2024
• Complete CORI verification - one time in-person process where your CORI verification form is compared to your government issued photo ID.  Emails will be sent with dates/times of when verification sessions will be held.  Emails are only sent to those individuals that need to complete this process.
