REFEREE INFORMATION

We have two referee programs in Westford:

Certified referees are those who have passed the training and test of the Mass State Referee Committee (www.massref.net).  To be eligible for one of these courses you need to be 14 or older at the start of the season.  These referees are paid to officiate our U10 – U14 travel games (Grade 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 games).

Volunteer referees are trained within WYSA, are at least 12 years old, and provide volunteer referee services for our U8 (grade 2) in town games.

In both cases a referee can also be a player in Westford (or for other teams/ clubs).
