Westford Youth Soccer will host Sunday afternoon skills clinics for players in grades K-8 this spring. This program is open to any Westford resident interested in improving their soccer skills through professional coaching in a fun environment. The hour-long sessions will take place at Jack Walsh Field and will focus on individual technical development. Participants will get a high quantity of touches in a fun environment, learning and improving their ability with the ball, their first touch and their decision making. Each session will include guided small-sided games. Sessions will be led by Jason Miller, a USSF C licensed coach, the director of the Massachusetts Futsal Association, and a 13-year varsity soccer coach; along with other professional coaches. *** WYSA coaches are encouraged to attend, help out, and soak up any and all knowledge from Jason and his professional coaches. *** What: WYSA Academy - Skills Clinics When: Sunday afternoons, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2, 6/9. Sessions are 1-hour long. Sessions will be grouped by age. Age group session times will be set based on the number of registrants per age group and will take place between 2pm-5pm.
