WYSA is looking for a volunteer to serve as our Registrar & Risk Management Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for a parent, coach, or community member who wants to give back and support a positive, development-focused soccer experience for our players.
The Registrar & Risk Management Coordinator helps make sure players and coaches are properly registered, and all adult volunteers meet required safety and training standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Registration & Registrar Duties
- Manage seasonal registration for players and coaches
- Respond to registration-related questions and direct other inquiries to the appropriate board member
- Process player drops, transfers, and roster updates
- Submit required seasonal reports to Mass Youth Soccer Association and the Town of Westford
- Troubleshoot registration-related issues for families and volunteers
- Maintain registration-related web pages and postings
- Provide reports and templates (including Emergency Contact Forms) to Age Directors
- Request certificates of insurance as needed
Website & Digital Platform Administration
- Maintain and update the WYSA website with schedules, announcements, and program information
- Administer online registration systems to ensure they are accurate, secure, and user-friendly
- Work with technical support or vendors to resolve technical issues when needed
Volunteer & Risk Management Responsibilities
- Ensure all adult volunteers (coaches, board members, team managers) meet Mass Youth Soccer requirements, including background checks, SafeSport training, and certifications
- Generate and manage adult volunteer credentials
- Track compliance and follow up with volunteers who have outstanding requirements
- Assist volunteers who have questions or encounter issues with registration or compliance
- Perform CORI verifications in accordance with policy
- Notify Age Directors when coaches are cleared to be assigned to teams
