These are the primary responsibilites of COVID Coordinator
Check players in for practice and games.
Record player check-ins on the WYSA site for proper contact tracing.
Ensure athletes leave immediately after practice. No recreational play, or loitering is allowed.
Ensure all athletes have their individual equipment. (Ball, water bottle, GK Gloves etc.)
Ensure all athletes have a mask to wear.
Ensure player’s personal belongings (bags, coats, sweatshirts) remain in their personal space and are kept physically distanced from the belongings of others. Do not allow sharing of personal items.
Grade K/1/2 Checkin routine
COVID Coordinator will be at the entrance to the fields
As player arrive (with mask on), they see the Coordinator, answers the health questions and verifies they have all mandatory equipment.
Grade 3+ Drop Off Routine
COVID Coordinator will be at the entrance to the fields
As player gets out of car (with mask on), they see the Coordinator, answers the health questions and verifies they have all mandatory equipment.
Coordinator gives driver thumbs up
Drive cannot leave until the Coordinator gives them a thumbs up
